The Student Center at the University Cleveland is located in the State of Ohio in the United States of America. It has a capacity for 138,000 students. This structure is designed to be the leading provider of extra-curricular activities and student social life. The design of the CSU have these different spaces: library, dining hall, offices for student activities, computer access and meeting space, in three spacious floors around a central atrium.

The building’s three levels are organized as follows. Level one provides street level access to the atrium floor, bookstore, pub, and cyber lounge as well as to ramp circulation that leads to a redesigned outdoor plaza. The second level contains the primary dining and food court areas as well as a convenience store and student senate office suite. It also provides direct access to the campus wide interior walkway system. On the third level are located a large, flexible conference center; prefunction spaces; and the student life administration and student office suite that includes interconnected lounge and conference rooms. There is also an outdoor terrace fronting Euclid Avenue.

In the following picture we see the distribution of the three floor of the CSU.

This building has an horizontal orientation. The main entrance is in the middle of the semi circle of the structure. In addition to these entries, the building has entrances on all sides around it. The hallways are wide, specifically designed for the capacity that the building have to hold. As you move around the building, the circulation leads you to the important spaces in it.

Being more specific, floor by floor, we see that the first floor contains spaces much wider, since she is the main host for all students. It also allows students to go to activities that will occur within the building, and so don't collapse the building entrances. At the second floor, the main activity is the dining room and food centers. This is why it is spacious, where you place the tables and the food centers sets. On the third floor are taken place more specific activities. Is not expect to have a lot of people doing activities at the same time on this floor that is why the corridors are more narrow, but the main entrance has a wide space.

An addiotional information, the facade in made of glass. This enables a feeling of spaciouness.

In my personal opinion, the student center at the University of Cleveland, was desing to fully achived with success the desired activities. Floor by floor, the circulation allows that this activities are taken place without difficulty
